LanguageCorps offers our TESOL Certification Program in Cusco: a four-week training course that include 120+ hours of classroom time and, the most important part of any quality TESOL certificate course, at least 6 hours of Observed Teaching Practice with local EFL students.

The TESOL certificate graduates receive prepares them to teach English effectively in any classroom in the world. Designed for those with or without previous teaching experience, this intensive training program includes instruction from experienced trainers, classroom observation of professional teachers, and teaching practice with language learners. Participants learn how to lead classes using the communicative approach, teaching students to use real-world language for real-world situations. Upon graduation, trainees will be able to teach adult ESL/EFL classes of different levels, feel comfortable choosing the right material to teach a given class, and complement their classes with audio-visual aids.

The training center in Cusco is located in a modern office building in the center of town, and is fully equipped with up-to-date conveniences and facilities. The training center offers classrooms for group and private classes, a library, and laptop computers with high-speed Internet connections. Every classroom has comfortable furniture, a whiteboard, and a cassette and CD player. There are also common areas where trainees can study, socialize, or grab a cup of coffee or tea served piping hot each morning.

The Cusco TESOL Certification Program Fee is US$1,995. Accommodations are available with host families near the Training Center for an additional cost of US$350 as well as in school residences ranging from US$250-275.
